In April of 2011 Brad McTaggart joined the firm of Olschewski Feuer Davie. He has chosen to exclusively practice in the area of family law which encompasses issues relating to divorces, child support, spousal support, custody, access, mobility, family property, separation, pre-nuptial and spousal agreements and grandparents' access to children.
Brad approaches the practice of law with the same passion and dedication as he has with all of his life's pursuits. This particular area of law was chosen with an understanding of the emotional and financial stress that most clients feel while dealing with family law issues. In this regard he provides accessible, yet frank and professional representation to clients during what is frequently a very stressful and difficult time.
Brad was born and raised in Winnipeg. In his younger years, Mr. McTaggart pursued a career in professional baseball by attending tryouts at Major League training camps in Florida. He also developed a keen interest in writing and studying fiction with philosophical undertones. Mr. McTaggart studied Philosophy at the University of Winnipeg, where he graduated withHonours. He chose to pursue a career in law as a practical application of the skills learned through studying philosophy, namely: logic, reasoning, and argumentation.
Brad graduated from Robson Hall Law School in 2006 and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2007.He is trained in collaborative law and is currently a member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba.
